Michel's musical journey is a captivating tale of dedication, skill, and a profound love for classical music. Her story, marked by esteemed mentors and international performances, reflects an unwavering commitment to her craft.


Early Beginnings:

Michel's musical journey commenced at the tender age of four under the esteemed guidance of Juilliard alumnus Romel Joseph. Her passion for classical music soared like a symphony, commencing with piano lessons at the age of eight under the tutelage of renowned instructors, including John Arguello and Nona Topolinsky. At thirteen, Michel embarked on a transformative path, embracing the viola and ascending to the position of the first violist in the prestigious South Florida Youth Symphony (SFYS). Under the mentorship of Richard Fleishman and Viera Borisova, she finely honed her skills and deepened her connection to the world of strings, a journey that would lead her to perform with renowned orchestras such as the Florida Grand Opera, Miami Symphony Orchestra, and Walenstein Symphony Orchestra.


A Scholar and a Performer:

Throughout her college years, Michel shared her expertise, teaching the beginning string program for SFYS and contributing to the Miami Music Project. Her commitment to musical education led her to found the Hope String Orchestra and direct the Easy Listening Orchestra. Michel's passion extended to organizing the Anointed Easter Music Competition and Recital, an event that nurtured emerging talents.


A World Stage:

As a soloist, Michel's talents have graced stages across Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean, where her exceptional performances have captivated audiences. She continues to flourish as a freelance musician, thriving in the vibrant music scenes of Indianapolis and South Florida. Michel's presence has been felt in renowned music festivals such as the Gateways Music Festival and the Colour of Music Festival.


A Journey in Education:

Michel's academic journey has been nothing short of remarkable, with training at institutions like the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and Florida Atlantic University. Currently pursuing her degree at Temple University under the tutelage of Kerri Ryan from the Philadelphia Orchestra, Michel stands on the brink of completing her education.

Nurturing Future Musicians:

Beyond her performances, Michel dedicates herself to the music community by serving as a teaching artist for the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, Vibe Music Academy, and Butler University's Community Arts School. She shares her expertise generously, nurturing the next generation of musicians.


Future Plans:

Looking ahead, Michel is set to produce captivating shows and participate in prestigious competitions, creating opportunities not only for herself but also for her current and future students. Her vision is to inspire and elevate the world of classical music through her artistry and teaching, all while maintaining a prolific symphonic career, excelling as a chamber musician, and mesmerizing audiences as a soloist. Michel's story is a testament to the transformative power of music. Her dedication to education, outstanding performances, and ambitious future plans promise a future filled with harmony, inspiration, and boundless opportunities.
